This month, you’ll learn how to make delicious Mint Nanaimo Bar using a gluten-free & plant-based recipe. This is an intermediate level class but beginners are welcome In this class you’ll learn how to:
Create the cashew mint filling
Create the chocolate coconut base
A list of ingredients and tools needed will be emailed 5-7 days before your class.

Pandemic Themed Dinner

The last 365 days or so have been dreadful, frustrating, uplifting, empowering, eye-opening, stressful, and in many ways uniting on a global scale.
In his 2005 memoir ‘A man without a country’, American author Kurt Vonnegut wrote an essay on the importance of humour during a crisis. Reflecting on the rise of comedians on the radio during the great depression, and his own experience during the second world war, he mused on the powerful effect humour has on fear and anxiety.
This supper club is inspired by the absurd year we’ve had, the unknown we are about to embark upon and the humour needed to help all of us find temporary relief. We are not all in the same boat but we are certainly all weathering a storm together.
